When you drive a Jeep, you think of outdoor fun, adventures, and a rugged ride. Jeep is also a brand steeped in history and tradition. As such, we’ve outlined some of the Jeep Cherokee Easter eggs you can find in your SUV. Take a look at our Jeep Easter egg list of things you’ll find all over your new Cherokee. These fun finds are a part of the brand’s mystique that’s been around for more than 80 years!
Turn your gaze to the lower-right corner of the windshield. You’ll see a tiny silhouette of the Willys MB, one of the original Jeep vehicles from 1942 built for the U.S. Army. It looks like the Willys MB is ready to go over steep terrain.
We encourage you to take a walk to the front of your Jeep Cherokee. Look a bit closer at the horizontal elements of the black grille. There’s another Willys MB Jeep there.
Speaking of the grille, every Jeep vehicle’s grille has exactly seven vertical slots in it. Your Jeep Cherokee has the same thing. Look at a Jeep Wrangler, Grand Cherokee, or Compass. They all have the same styling on their noses. Even the electric versions have seven slots as they drive along Pasadena roads.
As we noted, Jeep is proud of its heritage. The first Jeep vehicles went into service in 1941. This Jeep Easter egg on the list is relatively easy to see. Look at the bottom of your steering wheel below the horn. It says “Since 1941”. There’s another instance of “Since 1941” etched on one of the headlights.
Ever want to test your sense of adventure? Look at the bottom of the passenger seat to see map coordinates that point you to Moab, Utah, and its famous off-road trails. It’s one way Jeep continues to subtly tell you about how it pushes the envelope with its off-road prowess while remaining rooted in what makes the brand stand out.
When you climb into the cockpit of your Jeep Cherokee, look at the black side rails. Etched into them it will say “No Step!” It’s an inside joke for airplanes that have a similar warning. But just to be safe, don’t step on that piece of plastic because it cannot support your weight due to its thin design.
Now that you’ve read our Jeep Cherokee Easter egg list, it’s time to test drive one with our team. Contact us or call 281-949-6344 to get behind the wheel of one of these new vehicles today! We’d love to see you upgrade every ride with a new Jeep Cherokee in your Pearland or Baytown garage.
